Rich Rosen of the Street Harmony Revue has been a record collector since his teens growing up in Brooklyn. He fell in love with Doo-Wop music in the mid-1950's listening to groups such as Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, Harvey & The Moon Glows, The Flamingos and Dion & The Belmonts.
Rich and his wife Sunny started their business, Wax Trax Records, in the 1970's. Leaving Brooklyn and relocating to Stroudsburg, PA, they opened their first record store in the mid-1980's. Upon moving to Las Vegas in 1998, Wax Trax Records moved to 2909 S. Decatur Blvd., where it remains doing business today. The store features three floors of collectable vinyl, CDs, and memorabilia from the 1950's to the 1990's. Wax Trax Records is known worldwide as the premier location for music collectors.
The Street Harmony Revue originally started on KLAV 1230AM in 1999. While that show continues on Monday nights from 7pm-9pm, Rich's new version of the Street Harmony Revue airs right her on KUNV 91.5FM, on Saturdays from 10pm-Midnight.
Rich and Sunny have one son, David, who composes and produces music in Las Vegas. They also have a dog, Bobo, who is an Australian Sheppherd mix, and is the Wax Trax mascot.
